SG Server Migration

Dear Customer,

We have completed our SG server(sg.cloudhostx.net) migration to enhance the speed and performance of our hosting services. Please note the following important details regarding the changes:

Server Migration Overview:

  • New Main IP Address: 203.26.151.54
  • Old IP Address: 103.243.175.226
  • Hostname (Unchanged): sg.cloudhostx.net

Nameserver Information:

If you are using our own nameservers, you do not need to make any changes. Please ensure you are using the following:

  • ns1.cloudhostx.net
  • ns2.cloudhostx.net

Instructions for Cloudflare Users:

If you use Cloudflare for your domain, you must update the IP address in your Cloudflare DNS settings. Please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Cloudflare account.
  2. Go to DNS Settings.
  3. Replace the old IP address with the new one:
    • Old IP: 103.243.175.226
    • New IP: 203.26.151.54

Database Connection Issues:

If you are facing a "database connection failed" error, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel.
  2. Check the database name associated with your database user.
  3. Use the previous password, which you can find in the cPanel file manager. For example, if you are using WordPress:
    • Navigate to File Manager > public_html (your domain directory) > wp-config.php.
    • Open the wp-config.php file to view the database name, user, and password.
  4. Copy the password you see in the configuration file.
  5. Go to cPanel > Manage My Databases > Add User to Database.
  6. Select the appropriate user and database, then click Add to reassign the privileges.
  7. That’s it! You should now be able to connect to your database.
